July is off to a great start. The Ferber method has worked. G goes to bed at night without much of a fuss. The most he has ever cried is about 35 minutes with a hard cry for maybe 10 minutes in there. Most of it is just a talk to get himself to sleep- really cute actually. Most of the time he will only fuss for a few minutes with nap time. We are so proud of him. We did not do much for July 4th weekend. We skipped the parade but visited with some nieghbors for some wonderful BBQ brisket. We did take G to his first parade and festival this past weekend. It was the 60th annual McDade Watermelon Festival. G was not interested in the parade - did not like the sirens from the fire trucks. C was with us as was grandma and grandpa .C was proud of his bubblegum snow cone . A was off with my hubbies parents for the day. Zipp lining it! Wow-I'll post some pictures of that. A loved it and C cant wait until he is heavy enough to enjoy the fun.( have to be at least 80 pounds but C is only around 60) . A and C will be with us for the last half of July.Hubby is taking vacation and I will take the last week of the month off. I am counting the days until vacation time.
