The Ear Infection that will not go Away

So for many of you know that Gabe had caught his first cold 8 weeeks ago. Well the nasty bug caught in his ear and we tried clearing it with anotibiotics, only to find it did not work. Now G has the ear infection in both ears. So we are trying a stronger medicine. He has had fever since last week Thursday and Daddy had to take him back to the doctor today, because we thought he also caught a case of pink eye! uggghh.. well no pink eye but his right ear is improving but not the left. So he has another appointment on Wednesday and if he still shows no improvment, he is getting a shot and referred to an ENT for tubes in his ears. Poor little guy has been in pain and little fevers keep popping up .He has not been 100% for almost 8 weeks now! Not to mention our house has not known a peaceful night in just about the same amount of time. Well all I can say is i hope this is the worst of our year. So I pray this will clear up by the end of the week so we can get our Halloween portraits done and so he can be himself again.
Despite his being sick, he has learned to walk alot better and makes all sorts of baby talk. Not to mention his ability to clap his hands , wave good bye and Daddy is teaching him the word touch down while holding his hands in the air. We are also trying to teach him sign language... I have learned so much and its fun.

G has gotten tubes in his ears. His surgery was not set until 11:00 am. Which meant nothing to eat or drink from 8:00am on.All he could have was water or juice until 8 am. It was so long. They kept us waiting until 11:30. He woke up screaming and chugged down a 6 ounce bottle of formula and 2 ounces of juice. He slept for 3 hours- woke up cranky. Fell asleep an hour later - woke up still a little cranky. He eat a very big dinner and was in bed by 7.Only to wake up at 10:30 and again at 12:00 - tried to get him to sleep . It took until about 2:30 am with the help of bottle and Tylenol for the pain.This morning- a little better- we should see improvement by tomorrow. Sent him to day care with Motrin and I pray he wont be so cranky there.Gave the ladies a heads up to call me if its just to overwhelming.Thank you Guardian Angel for watching over him.
