Well, here we go!

G is now officially walking . Ok-, so maybe not running. But his cruising has gotten better and not to mention, he now takes 3 to 4 steps. Totally surprised me while Dad stated" oh yes, he has been doing that for a few days now. You didn't notice?" Hummm...NO! He will be 9 months old on the 29th but wow- not bad for a kiddo his age. So we suspect he will be walking with no problem by the end of October. Doesn't seem that long ago when the little tyke couln't even hold his head up. So amazing to watch this little man grow his first year.
He still only has two teeth yet but I am sure others are soon to follow. What seemed to be a bad cold turned into his first ear infection. But with the doctors help and some much needed medicine, he has had two restful nights to date. Thank goodness, we needed the rest. We have 6more days of medicine but the doctor was correct when he stated we would see improvement in 3 days. So now the new hurdle for us is getting him to eat. He no longer wants to be spoon fed, he wants to feed himself. So he is now on small finger foods. his favorite? Cinnamon raisin bagel, strawberry apple puffs and bannana's. Its a start. We managed to slip in fresh peach and he did a ummmm sound with that taste. The texture is different and he has figured that the carrots are not as sweet as the pureed version- rascal. We wont give up- more carrots and peas this weekend. Oh and his majesty has figured out how to drop food for Pepito. He loves to do this. he even teases the dog by holding his puff in the air and Pepito just trys to get it and G just giggles.
Well thank goodness its Friday. We have a busy weekend ahead. Bir Brother C has started soccer as of this weekend so we are fans this Saturday. While G has a birthday party to attend on Sunday. A will be bored I am sure. A is growing to be quite the tween. He gets bored quite easily these days. So I spoke to him and told him this will happen more often and his new job is figuring out what can make life more fun and exciting. So when A states his boredom we just smile and try and remember when we were his age.
