Summer is almost over..

Well here we are on our 42 day of being in the 100 degree mark.Today ties us with the record setting in 2002 . That was the year for the most consecutive days in the 100 degree and over. It just feels like the world is going to melt away if we dont get any relief to this weather.The boys are now counting the amount of days they have until school begins. Oh howI long to be their age again , when days seem to last forever.
G began his first day at daycare today. We spent a few days last week , there ,so that he could become familiar with his new surroundings. He loved it- wore himself out on both days. The women are wonderful and the other children are so adorable. I was the one crying when I left this morning. But he is fine and the ladies were assuring me - not him!! How my heart tugs for him. Now I am counting the hours until I have to pick him up. My little baby is turning in to a little boy.
PM Update:
G had an excellent first day. He ate all his food and took three great naps. So much for my worrying. He played nice with the other children. There is one boy there who was born on Dec 24th- so G and he are very close in age!So he has a playmate. There is another child who is also 2 months older who will be joining them later this month. The owner told me he and the other boy took theire 3rd nap together in a stroller built for two. They sit next to one another. She stated G woke up first and she could swear G leaned over and gave him a little kiss and woke him up. My boy is very sweet and easy going she stated. Of course... he takes after Daddy.
